Sad but true - My own father didn't recognized me

Today it was the first time my father didn’t recognized me, nevertheless a few minutes later he asked for my children. I think he didn’t recognize me but made the associating with my children. The Alzheimer's disease is taking control and he has his on and off moments.

Oh my, I'm really sorry to hear that. But I know what you're going through. I myself felt the same way when my granddad suffered a similar problem. He died a year ago, and to commemorate his death, I just decided a good replica of his Howard Miller grandfather clock. His is quite bigger, though. At least I have something to remember him by. I miss him terribly.
