Already thinking about Birthday Party
Now that my son has his Christmas presents he is already talking about what he wants for his Birthday (February 1st). This kid is never satisfied.
Last year he didn't have a birthday party because he was grounded but this year we are already thinking about what kind of party we are going to have. We have a big backyard but as in February we still have cold and sometimes windy and rainy days, we are thinking about renting a canvas tent and make the party inside the tent.
Most classmates are going to come as well as some family kids, and I really don't feel like having all the kids inside the house. Maybe a big tent will do the trick.

My kids (10 and 13) are much happier now having small parties where they get to take two of their friends out to dinner and/or to the movies. It's cheaper in the long run and more meaningful to our kids.

It's a great idea indeed but Anne is right, I'm sure you'd prefer spending less money. Although .. the tent really sound fun and original, all his friends will like him even more!
