Donate and make someone happy
Usually I donate or give away clothes and toys that no longer fit or are no longer in use. I also accept clothes from younger children that my kids use, there is no shame on that. If you have items at home that you no longer use, why not make someone happy by giving them to someone that can give them good use.
There are some companies that accept furniture, refrigerators, washing machines and some companies, like Car Angel, that accept cars, motocycles, RV's and even boat donations. Car Angel is a no-profit company that sells the donated items and use the money to make videos for kids and teens. They have already given away more then 2.4 million videos.
If you have an old car or boat don't put it in the trash, donate it and make millions of children happy. Here's an example of what is made with the raised money:

I have always been more than happy to accept and I even continue to pass along toys and clothes. Why should families continue to buy things while your friends and family are tossing out the very same things? And if there is no one I know who needs what I am trying to give away I give them to charity. Hopefully someone can get some use out of these still useful items.

I am always into donating something regularly to poor kids. It makes me feel good and gives peace to my mind.
All the time I give to charity clothes,toys.That is our dept to help people who need it!

i tot it's supposed to be donate for charity!
so far I only donated old things to people, not accepting them..maybe I should give it a try..
