This year, and once there is no money to pay for the gas to use in central heating we decided to buy some wood and light the fireplace at night. We live in a condominium of 12 houses and we have a common basement where the garages of all the houses are.
So when I phoned to the wood men I said the truck had to be small so that it could enter in the main gate and drive to my garage without hitting the pipes there are along the way. He said no problem, that he was already experienced in going "underground" with the truck.
He arrived and slowly he went down into the entrance and there was grill on top of the cabin that was going to hit, he just switch a button and the grill went down. He then told me that, due to amount of houses nowadays with garage in the basement he had to adjust the truck. He went to the
truck accessories store and he bought that grill that in normal circumstances allow him to load the truck till a higher level.
The wood was delivered inside my garage so storage was very easy. We have been the fireplace working all days but...but it's not a good solution. The living room is warm but the rest of the house freezing and I guess that's the cause of my daughter's cough.
